TownePlace Suites Rancho Cordova, located in Rancho Cordova, California, brings Marriott’s extended stay brand to a new market through a modern, clean architectural expression. Developed for Insignia Hospitality Group, the 117 key hotel represents Mayse & Associates Architects’ first project in California, requiring careful navigation of the state’s CBC building codes and ADA regulations while delivering a high-quality hospitality experience aligned with brand standards.

Guests are welcomed into a thoughtfully designed environment that balances functionality with a contemporary aesthetic. The exterior composition and building layout create a streamlined, cohesive presence, while the interior experience emphasizes comfort, efficiency, and approachability. A key highlight of the project is the lobby environment, where the Interior Design team helped shape the new TownePlace Suites brand prototype, setting a forward-thinking tone for future locations through clean lines, intuitive layouts, and inviting communal spaces.
