Hampton Inn Midland West

Hampton Inn Midland, located at 1107 Windhaven Drive in Midland, Texas, is a four story Type V A wood frame hotel thoughtfully positioned adjacent to the owner’s existing properties. Developed across two parcels, the project benefited from strategic site planning and a comprehensive replat that allowed the building to be optimally centered on the site. During design, the project team successfully integrated updated Hilton prototype standards, maintaining brand consistency while preserving the overall layout. Close coordination with the City of Midland supported project goals, including approved variances for the entry canopy and parking, ensuring the hotel was realized as envisioned.

Guests are welcomed by a wood look entry vestibule that sets the tone for a warm and contemporary arrival experience. Inside, the open lobby is designed as a flexible gathering space, enhanced by varied ceiling heights that add visual interest and a sense of openness. The lobby also features a game room for added guest enjoyment, while the pool and BBQ area are thoughtfully located at the front of the hotel adjacent to the breakfast area, creating an active and inviting outdoor environment. The lobby layout was thoughtfully refined to enhance openness while preserving the original structural design.
