Hospitality

Element by Westin

606 West John Carpenter Freeway Irving, Texas 75038

Element by Marriott is a 105,565-square-foot, 12-story hotel located at 606 West John Carpenter Freeway in Irving, Texas. Developed by Lodgic Hospitality, the project was delivered as new construction and designed in a contemporary architectural style. From entitlement through completion, the project required a highly coordinated effort to navigate site constraints and approvals while maintaining brand standards. With a limited footprint, the design strategy was to build vertically, creating an efficient high-rise form that maximizes the site and establishes a strong visual presence along the corridor.

The arrival experience is clearly defined, guiding guests from the main roadway into the parking area and directly to a welcoming hotel entry. The exterior is energized with architectural lighting and crisp modern detailing that reinforces Element’s fresh identity both day and night. Inside, the lobby opens into a bright and fluid space anchored by a curved bar and expanded market. A straight-through visual connection draws guests toward the outdoor patio and pool, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience that enhances both orientation and comfort.

Mayse & Associates Architects are proud to have partnered with Lodgic Hospitality to bring this contemporary hospitality experience to life through comprehensive architectural services, including design development, coordination, permitting support, and construction administration. The hotel is designed to support both business travelers and families, offering amenities that extend beyond the guestroom. These include a lobby bar, grab-and-go market, outdoor patio and pool, fitness center, and a top-floor ballroom with pre-function space suited for meetings and events. The project also incorporates EV charging stations and was executed with the complexity of a high-rise structure, utilizing a new structural system and code approach to meet performance and life-safety requirements within a constrained site.
